The great thing about bodycon dresses is that they can easily be worn as tops underneath skirts- I adore the print on this Motel Rocks dress (and heads up, I will be giving one of these beauties away soon on Frassy). And because its Friday and summer is finally here, I decided to dance my way through the streets for today's blog post- I urge you all to do the same, its super fun! This is what my hair naturally looks like- it used to be totally straight but after dying it for years, it developed waves (or on a humid day, full blown curls). And as the weather is scorching today, it would have been totally useless trying to style it- so I let it loose and I left it crazy. And on another note, these sandals are by far the comfiest heels I own- I bought them on sale from ASOS in both black & tobacco brown. Wow, not going to lie, it took just about all the confidence I have to leave the house wearing this- and yes, I almost ran back to my apartment in shame after the first few disapproving old lady stares. But then I remembered that one day, along the way, I will probably feel too old to wear something like this- and so I thought, best to cross it off my sartorial bucket list now rather than later. I can hope this rather risqué outfit encourages you all to wear what you love, regardless - always regardless of what others might think. "When was the last time you did something for the first time?" - its a pretty huge question, but one that we should ask ourselves more often. Sometimes the largest questions in life can feel a little intimidating, a whole montage of possible answers rushes into your head, and constructing a worthy response can feel almost impossible. But, as I have gotten older, I have learnt to appreciate the act of simplifying - because when it comes down to it, life is simple. Inhale/exhale is what keeps us alive - and so sometimes those large questions, the ones that make us feel comfortable, can be broken down into a series of basic responses. And so, in answer to Eastpak's new campaign - centred around doing something new for the first time- I took a fun, down-to-earth approach. Ever since I moved to Paris (and ever since I watched Carrie Bradshaw run through Paris in one of her signature voluminous skirts) I wanted to recreate this moment for myself. And so, I took some time out of my day, to do just that, by twirling down my favourite bridge in a beautiful handmade Crinoline with a beautiful beau on my arm, Jared. And so, "my something for the first time" might seem totally ridiculous to some, it made me happy to finally capture the photographs I have always wanted. And so I'll end this by urging you all to check out Eastpak's new campaign (click here) - I hope it inspires you to do something (be it big or small) for the first time. Because even though daily life can be monotonous at times, we should always strive to constantly add adventure along the way.

Thought I would do a double whammy weekend post by combining my final two Jimmy Choo looks. I fall in and out of love with scarves - to me they usually signify cold weather, you know those winter days when you leave the house without one and your head and neck are so cold you want to cry? But spring scarves...oh they are completely different- a rather frivilous accessory except for the fact they can pack a pretty serious fashion punch - in that they can make or break an outfit. Here I am wearing two of my absolute favourites - a black & white neon fringed beauty I bought recently on sale at Urban Outfitters and my beloved Alexander McQueen - a scarf I splurged on at University (and subsequently starved for a couple weeks). It is really amazing what a simple scarf can add to an outfit- I love the simplicity of wearing one basic colour and then adding a series of similar prints. This time of year always reminds me of floppy hats - even if its not always summery outside, a big hat always makes it feel warmer than it is. As I'm sure I've told you all before, a couple years ago, I promised myself I'd never dye my hair again - this has been a hard vow to stick to (I am incredibly fickle)- so thank god for wigs of every length, shape and style to keep my hair desires satisfied! So finally, I get to share my Jimmy Choo collaboration with you all. I worked with them on their Stylemakers campaign - a microsite celebrating their 24:7 collection, which showcases women from all over the world wearing Jimmy Choo shoes/handbags in everyday life. I was asked to style 7 looks based around the Choos of my choice, so for the next week, I will be sharing each ensemble on Frassy. Here I'm wearing the thigh-high leather boots -such beautifully soft leather, literally felt like slipping my feet into silk socks! And regardless of whether you live in the city, a small town or even in the countryside, there is always something new to see. Keeping it casual-and sorta fruity too, this outfit reminds me of lemon meringue pie. I've had these jeans for years and years now, nothing like old denim- seriously the most comfortable pair I own! Cannot believe the weekend is already here, gotta say, I've had an incredible week- being self-employed can often bring on insecurities but this week, I've feel like I'm on a roll. I've never been happier in life - I remember the self-inflicted turmoil I'd go through at university, and it all seems so long ago now. As I get older (and hopefully a little wiser) I am increasingly content, which is so important - so make sure you all take an hour or two this weekend to really just appreciate the people, places and passions that fill your life.
