New Years Eve! One of my favourite nights of the year, and I feel so lucky to spending the beginning of the best year yet in my most perfect city, Paris. I hope you all have a magical night, and urge you all to wear something metallic, sparkly, sequin-embellished, or like me, something totally ridiculously crazy. Here is to another year, another round of this awesome thing we call LIFE. It has been unbelievable so far, 2011 being my favourite yet. And finally, I want to thank all of YOU lovely readers: your support, comments, emails, facebook messages and tweets make me smile, well, pretty much everyday. I remember the day I started this blog, I had been made to feel embarrassed (and frustrated) with what I loved more than anything, FASHION. And you guys, you all gave me hope and encouragement, so thanks for following my totally wacky Frassy journey. Big Love to all of you, and Happy 2012! Lets make it great and big and better than ever! 

Bunny Ears

Wow, packing to go back to Paris is always so difficult. Mostly because I have boxes of beautiful clothes stored away that I want to bring back plus I tend to do a lot of shopping here with my Mom, and so as you can imagine the 20 kilo weight limit kills me everytime. But let me talk about BUNNY EARS for a moment here. I never thought I would meet another diehard fan of animal ears until the beautiful Peony Lim walked into my life during Paris Fashion Week last season, and together we bonded over this obsession-love of ours. Now, if there is one conclusion we came to, it would have to be in the form of advice (to you all) to invest in a pair of headband ears (preferably of the rabbit or cat variety). Totally impractical, completely frivolous but irresistibly fun: what more could you possibly want from an accessory? More tomorrow! Photos: Anastasia Nielsen

Going home to Paris soon, mentally packing (so much easier than actual packing) but also visualizing my New Year's Eve outfit. I might wear flats to maximize the number of midnight laps I can run around the city. I want fireworks, sequins, bubbles, stars and confetti- all the best ingredients for the beginning of the best year yet. Cannot believe 2011 is almost behind us, time is blurring past me- but I am ready to embrace all the new to come. Speaking of new, I've always been a fan of Stylestalker but appreciation for the brand turned into love when I received this beautiful blouse. The craftsmanship is pretty amazing- and I'm really into the back cut-out, its the perfect excuse for not wearing a bra (as you all know, most days I really hate wearing a bra). Winter Colour Block

Colour blocking always always makes me a happier person, especially in the winter when the skies are grey and the weather is dull. I find winter colour blocking always starts with the tights (or trousers) - all you have to do is work your way up from the bottom, adding as many colours (as you possibly can). I'm back at home for two more days, its been lovely, napping, reading, catching up with old friends. Totally relaxing, but I am getting a little anxious about the stack of work awaiting me back in Paris, and I do miss the city too.  Hope you all had a cosy holiday-I ate far too much food! Orange Heart

Christmas eve! I've been in the kitchen all day, reading through old scrapbooks, listening to Ben Howard, hanging out with my brothers and mom PLUS eating far too many homebaked holiday goods. The weather in Spain is beautiful: I always love a sunny Christmas (hey if you can't have snow, second best is sunshine, right?) This Crown& Glory Star Crown is pretty awesome, right? Nothing beats glittery star headwear, in fact I def. want to be wearing this magical accessory on New Year's Eve, I am convinced it will kickstart 2012 in a, dare I say, "sparkling" fashion?! God, I am too corny sometimes, but especially when it comes to glitter and stars and unicorns- I store my enthusiasm for all these frivolous, beautiful things in a compartment of my imagination I have labelled "CONFETTI". But enough of my rambling now, I spent the entire day Christmas shopping- totally exhausted and I've volunteered to make dinner for my family tonight- so I better get cooking. Polka Mesh Dress

This winter season marks my growing love for mesh & polka dot combinations- and so it was such a mood boost to find this lovely dress in my mailbox a couple weeks ago. (btw, heads up everyone, this beauty is on sale right now at LOVE, 50% off too!) I went shopping today, and unexpectedly found shoelaces in every rainbow colour imaginable- which was a great discovery considering I have a dozen pairs of high tops that I spray painted different colours but none of the poor babies have any laces. Looks like Christmas came early for all my old shoes! Plaid Match

So, I'm back in Spain- its not even been 24 hours and I've already scoured some of the local charity shops, slept in until ridiculous o'clock and soaked up the sun at cafes on the beach. There is always a transition period for me, between city life and countryside living- but once I ease into it, I find it much easier to relax. And Christmas, oh wow, so soon- whats the countdown now?! Like 4 days! Frassy & Furla Part 2

So this is my second styling project for the new Furla S/S Edition of the Candy Bag- very simple garments but then again the handbag is such a statement piece. And I love navy blue with pale pink, such a great colour combination. What I especially adore about this bag is I can fit everything I need in it, and yes that includes my rather large camera, perfume, notebooks and pens. Double win. Boxy bags are so practical. Anyway, slowly preparing for my Paris departure to Spain tomorrow (I totally procrastinate when it comes to packing) - it was one of those dreary rainy days here, thank god for Haleigh, who came over and we hung out over sushi and Christmas tea. So, my mother found me this jacket during one of her many vintage shopping trips in Spain. She is def. who taught me how to shop well, and she always finds me the most beautiful garments, she knows my taste through and through! Sunday was beautiful today, gorgeous sunny weather, and after the sun went down, I accidently indulged in a 2 hour nap- not something I do very often but it felt so good to catch up on some of my sleep. Christmas Special

I go home for the holidays on Tuesday- all my Mom's best culinary delights, wasting time watching reruns with my brothers plus warmer weather- I cannot wait. And because of Christmas cheer, I couldn't resist twirling around in this dress- there is something about  velvet that make me want to spin around and imagine gold confetti falling from the sky. Paris has been wonderful this weekend, and while I'm looking forward to some downtime in Spain, I always begin to feel sad when I leave this city. But 2012 is going to mark the biggest love affair of my life, Paris just keeps getting better. I'm gonna buy a house and a puppy and finally seal the deal, yep, I'm going to marry this city. Frassy For Furla

When I was much younger and living in Madrid, my mother had this gorgeous Furla wallet- I remember being in total awe of it- aged looking tanned leather pockets bursting with cards, receipts and change. I always wanted it for myself. And then Furla launched their Candy bag last spring- the boxy bowler bags in every colour of the rainbow, it was quite simply delicious! So, when Furla contacted me about a collaboration, I thought back to my twelve year old self - and yeah, not going to lie, I smiled about me and that wallet all those years ago. So anyway, here is to a new love affair, this time with the spring/summer 2012 edition of the Candy Bag.  Python and Pink, all in the same boxy goodness. If I was still a student, this is SO what I would wear for a day of classes. Wearing bows in your hair helps concentration, did you know that?! Spent the day filming various projects, all of which I cannot wait to share with you guys! Of course a day wouldn't be a day without some serious goofing around, quick pit stops in vintage stores and coffee outside in the sun. Golden Lights & Red

Paris has beautiful Christmas lights and they especially sparkle in those golden moments of final light before night descends. Besides, I'm on a total star obsession recently so I am totally crushing over these star lights that are in my neighbourhood. I've always been a fan of bright red & leopard print, reminiscent of the sixties, don't you think? Plus, I unintentionally dressed in sync with the Holidays- it is now under a week until I go back to my family in Spain for Christmas. I've barely started my Christmas shopping, def. dedicating my weekend to this endeavour.
