A montage of what I've been getting up to during Paris Fashion Week. The weather is sublime, summertime temperatures, constantly sunny skies: I sort of feel like fashion week has pushed (the usually autumnal) September Paris into one last stint of summer madness. I'm having the most fun I've had in weeks- my friends from all over the world are here, my flat has been converted into some sort of clothes confetti party and while exhaustion is slowly getting the best of me, I am determined to power through! More tomorrow!

What I'm Wearing: Brand Bazar Dress, ASOS Hat & Gold Cuff, Rayban Wayfarers, Mango Bag & JC Litas
Quick post today- been running around Paris in the sunshine snapping photos- I really love some of my freelance projects- so I guess its been a good day so far. Just super tired. Going to wander off to a series of Fashion Week afterparties tonight with some of my favourite people. But before that, I have some work to do and a very important early evening nap to take (I'm ill okay?! I need my rest!) Happy Thursday!
Mooch
What I'm Wearing it: Yayer Vintage Leopard Shorts, ASOS Faux Leather Tank,
Crystallized Vintage Kimono, ASOS Shoes, Rayban Wayfarers, Vintage Hat,
ASOS Bracelets, Cartier Love Bracelet & Michael Kors Watch.
Well, its fashion week but after Harry's after party last night- I took a day out, and instead mooched around Saint Michel. Ate a club sandwich with Frances (who yes, is in Paris and yes, she took these photos)- and now we are resting up, deciding what to do (if anything) tonight. I'm sort of lacking enthusiasm for Fashion Week- right now I've got the worst cold. BUT what DOES excite me are all my fashion friends that flock to Paris at this time of year- the next couple of days are going to such fun. More tomorrow!
Stripes, Red
What I'm Wearing: Ebay Sweater, Ebay Red Clutch, H&M Red Suede
Leggings, Spartoo Heels, Grey Ant Sunglasses & ASOS rings.
I'm sort of ill, the cold and sore throat that always haunts me in autumn is slowly creeping up on me. Saying that, I'm not going to let it ruin fashion week- in fact as Marc Jacobs said, "happy happy fashion" might actually be a very valid cure for how I'm feeling. And if not, I can always throw on this super cosy sweater tunic: its baggy enough to make me feel like I'm walking around tucked up in a duvet. Today I'm tidying my house (clothes, everywhere, per usual), drinking alot of green tea, getting down to some serious writing work...and all the while listening to this and maybe this. Hoping to catch a show or two this evening and maybe a quick afterparty stop. Photos: Anastasia Nielsen
Double Leather
What I'm Wearing: Vintage Hat, Prada Sunglasses, Topshop Nude Tank, ASOS collar,
H&M Leather Jacket & Trousers, Zara Shoes & Cartier Love Bracelet.
Matching leather AND ladylike nude heeled pumps!? Yes, I did it. Nothing beats juxtaposition. I also am sort of obsessed with wearing my hair like this- although after all your kind emails/advice about the hassle of styling short hair, I def. have been persuaded not to cut all my locks off! Its Monday, and I am back into the swing of routine, which feels great- in fact, I feel great- life is great- the weather in Paris is great too. Photos: Anastasia Nielsen
Mixed Metals
What I'm Wearing: Urban Outfitters Metallic Thread Draped Tunic, Ebay Silver Metallic Leggings,
ASOS Heels, House of Harlow Chelsea Sunglasses, Frassy Rags Silver Collar Necklace & Cartier Love Bracelet.
Well, the weekend is over- and I am looking forward to the start of a fresh week full of work. Paris Fashion Week starts on Tuesday, so I need to rest up and get busy deciding what to wear! Hope you are all having a relaxing Sunday evening: I'm going to clean my house and watch a movie- which is what I do at the end of every weekend. Photos: Anastasia Nielsen

What I'm Wearing: Vintage Plaid Trousers, Stradivarius Suede Tank, Zara Heels,
Mango Bag & Sunglasses, Vintage Fur Vest & ASOS Panther Cuff.
The weekend, it is HERE. And I couldn't be more excited- what a beautiful autumn day here in Paris. The sort of crisp air that leads to one of those magical Friday winter nights- where you can see all the stars above the city. I was dreading the return of the colder weather, but now, I feel excited for nocturnal escapades; running wild in big furs and crazy hats- ducking in and out of golden warm cafes. I've had a very strange week, one that has left me feeling a little disconnected from myself... and so I am glad its drawing to an end. AND, besides its PARIS FASHION WEEK next week! Too fun! After eyeing up Stella McCartney's latest collection, I've been looking for a mesh polka-dot bodice for a while now, and ofcourse, ASOS had the perfect less expensive version. I can't wait to wear it with just about everything I own-including my new collection of suede high-waisted trousers (I bought 4 pairs in different colours; excessive, I know!) This is my new favourite hairstyle- primarily because I am so tempted to cut it this short - but I know I'd miss my long hair wayy too much. Went out last night, so I am exhausted today- considering going to the cinema, followed by a bath and a very early bed-time. More tomorrow! Photos: Anastasia Nielsen
Ombre Pinks
What I'm Wearing: ASOS Suglasses, H&M Cropped Pink Sweater, American Apparel Sheer
Pink Blouse, ASOS Leggings, Ebay Clutch, Vintage Rose Bangle & Zara Heels.
SO, I did try to get to London today via Eurostar- but it was an epic fail. I'll spare you the details-however I am so glad Paris has replaced London in terms of where I consider home. And what a great place Paris is to live, the French are so welcoming! Anyway, lets talk clothes- get a load of all the P-I-N-K in this ensemble! Haha, I always have to go all out, don't I? For those of you in Paris, I'm going to The Book Club at Le Carmen tonight with Isa and Imogen- uhh if you haven't been already, get down down down there- its super fun! Photos: Anastasia Nielsen
Creative Frills
What I'm Wearing: Vintage White Blazer, Vintage Frill Dress,
I bought this "dress" at a flea market in Paris a couple weeks ago. As you all know, I love vintage, especially vintage dresses.I spotted the blue frills and got excited, but my friend (who came shopping with me) insisted it was a skirt. I was convinced it would look awesome as a dress. As I held it up to my body, laughing at how the frills bounced as I twirled around, the vendor angrily declared it was "une jupe" (a skirt). Before he started yelling, I handed him a 2 euro coin and so this weird garment of clothing because my favourite, most hilarious "non-dress". Huge amounts of money doesn't guarantee "style"- if you don't have the dollar, you just have to be extra creative. And you know what, even if I could have every piece of designer garb I've ever wanted, I would still shop at flea markets. Because lets face it, how often do you see a dress like this? And, its not even a dress- I decided it would be. And so here's what I am trying to convey: every garment, even the most bizarre, wacky piece can be styled into something great. So for the good of fashion, shop at flea markets, vintage stores, charity shops, raid your grandma's wardrobe: because I believe within the fabric fibres of each and every piece of clothing lies infinite styling possibilities.
