Soaking up the last of the summer sun before I head back to Paris tomorrow. September is going to be a crazy month!  I threw this on in an compulsive effort to find something that matched my purple nails. My boyfriend, family and I went for a long lunch today- and this evening, I think we are going to chill out in the air-conditioning and watch, uhh The Incredibles (who doesn't love animated movies?!) While vacation has been great, I'm looking forward to getting back to my Paris routine- I actually miss early mornings, long runs and my daily post office trips. Oh and also, I am contemplating getting a dog this autumn: a miniature spitz or a pomeranian. I'll call her Minty and she'll sleep in a polka dot bed. Do you any of you live on your own and have a dog? Any recommendations? Advice? More soon!

I'm big on the colour Orange, the shade of tangerines, preferably. Autumn is around the corner, but I'll be bringing Orange with me- but instead of  fruit flavoured, I think I'll choose sunset orange; darker, burnt, warmer shades. So while summer is sizzling out, I can assure you, my friend Orange is here to stay. I'm returning to Paris in a few days, cannot wait to see my pretty faced friends, especially Haleigh and Imogen. And while I am relishing the last few days of August with my boyfriend, I'm excited for the refreshing transition that the shift in seasons faithfully brings. September is going to be a good month. More tomorrow!

What I'm Wearing: Vintage Pink Polka Dot Dress, Zara Sandals, Vintage Hat & Frassy White Spheres

Hat and Wig exactly the same shade of delicious bubblegum pink? Irresistible! A moment of restlessness developed into a pretty serious game of dress-up. I guess it started when I bought the wig yesterday, then I found this hat in the depths of my dusty closet and suddenly the dress yelled out "hey don't forget me", so in effort to please my clothes (because clothes, they have feelings, you know), I obediently threw it on. I know some of you readers become a little angry when I wear wigs (which by the way, I find hilarious) but I love them. I love them because I crave different hair colours at least once every hour of every day (sometimes more) and wigs are the perfect solution to my constant desire for pink, green, white blonde or even mint coloured hair. And yes, I know what you are probably thinking, I need to get back to the city and my daily routine because the countryside awakens this somewhat bizarre facade of me. But hey, like I've told you many times before, fashion is supposed to be fun and there is nothing like crazily colour coordinated outfits that scream "F-U-N", right?

Spent most of the day lounging by our pool, listening to this and this: two of my favourite summer songs. Fluro colours (such as this tank) really accentuate a tan, huh? I'm uhh almost glowing (maybe excessively?!) But let me talk about this pulled back pony-tail: so perfect for summer, its super easy and keeps all your hair out of your face so your forehead stays cool (nothing more annoying than a sweaty forehead) If any of you guys are on vacay, give this ponytail a try- I don't usually discuss hairstyles (primarily because I know nothing about them) but my long hair can often be such a pain in the heat - and this pulled back, almost wet look is so effective in keeping me sweat-free and summer happy! More tomorrow! Summer is drawing to an end, so absorb all the energy and sunshine you can out of it while it lasts!

Embarked on a shopping marathon with my Momma today and then caught up with an old friend on my porch, watching the sunset and reminiscing about our school days (which scarily enough seem like a lifetime ago) Cannot believe I will be turning 23 in under 2 months! Scary! Its far too hot here, I kind of miss crawling into my big duvet at night in Paris: sleeping is so much cosier when the weather is cooler! Speaking of, I'm exhausted, time for bed and books. More tomorrow!

I never go travelling without supplying you all with one of my "montage blog posts", so here are some snaps from Barcelona. The weather was scorching and as we were walking a lot, I kept my outfits very simple (most of the clothes worn here are from Stradivarius, as a Spanish brand, they have perfected  summer clothes that stay comfy and sweat-free under the Spanish sun). One of my newly discovered fashion accessories is a Starbucks Fresh Orange Juice, is it ridiculous that I ordered alot of these (rather than my all time favourite iced chai tea) purely because they complimented my orange Chanel bag so wonderfully?! I guess I really am a true fashion victim. I'm back at the family home in Spain, tucked away in the mountains for a couple days. My room here is literally overflowing with clothes, so I love coming back and discovering old garments I forgot; it's sort of like shopping because I bring my favourites back home with me to Paris.

Took these photos today in Barcelona; the natural light in this city is beautiful, as are the huge streets adorned with age old trees. I picked this dress up at Stradivarius yesterday while walking down Passeig de Gracia (which is the big shopping boulevard here); the print reminds me of an oversized inspired Pucci print. The weather here is scorching hot, and I'm really enjoying spending time with my family, especially our long Spanish style lunches filled with chatter and (almost obnoxious) laughter.

Hi people. I'm in Barcelona, currently blogging from behind a hotel curtain because the sunlight is pouring in so brightly from the windows, I couldn't see the laptop.  I've not had time to snap an outfit post here, but I went shopping yesterday, so I think this evening I'll get some photos down by the port. Really feels like summer here, the best season in Spain, and the time of year I miss most since I moved away...we were at the beach yesterday, it was incredible: crowds swelling over every square inch of sand. If I had the money, I would spend six months a year in Paris and the other half here in Barcelona. Maybe some day, huh? But let me quickly talk about this dress I'm wearing, probably my most favourite black dress, purely because of the super unique neck-line (you don't have to wear a bra with it either, which is great, because I hate bras) Ok, more tomorrow, and I promise I'll share some Barcelona photos!

So I'm in Barcelona now (I'm so organized- I managed to plan a uhh "scheduled post" last night) I've really lucked out with the white maxi skirt, I've come across (and bought) 4 different styles recently. And if you'd like to know, this one is my absolute favourite. In fact, I love it so much, I am wearing this exact ensemble for travelling today (I am hoping the bow will make my airplane journey more bearable, because, you know bows brighten up your mood, especially when they are placed on your head, located as close as possible to the brain). I've packed very few clothes for my trip; only carry-on luggage, but I think I've planned my clothing options pretty well (then again, I'm sure tomorrow morning I will be cursing my limited choices). It's funny I've travelled alot in my life, all over the world and I'm still hugely lacking in "packing skills". More soon! Photography: Anastasia Nielsen
