Sundress Ideal

What I'm Wearing: Stradivarius Hat & Dress, ALDO Sandals & Frassy White Spheres.

The perfect bikini cover-up: it must be loose, preferably strapless, comfort is compulsory and finally, you must be able to slip it on and off with ease- this strapless dress from Stradivarius meets all my ideal sundress requirements. Add a hat, a pop of lipstick and boom wham, you are beach or poolside ready. Last night we saw Kool and The Gang perform- super fun- and they were impressive live too. The heat and sun are wonderfully addictive but after a weekend under the rays, I am beat. Time for a movie and then bed wrapped underneath the coolness of air-conditioning. More tomorrow!

Cyprus Crochet

Pure escape, sleeping in, sunbathing all day...I cannot get enough. I indulged in some of the best seafood I've ever eaten last night. There is nothing like late dinners after a day by the pool. Add some diet cokes and a midnight breeze, and its a summer double win winner. In this heat, its necessary to shower twice a day, keep your hair up in a topknot  and change outfit at least three times a day (good job I brought 19.8 kilos of clothing with me!) I am doing everything I can to avoid a sunburn but the sun is deliciously brutal here! More tomorrow!

Orange Orange

What I'm Wearing: Vintage Levis White Cut-Offs, Zara White Blazer & Orange Tank,

Hey dolls, so I am in Cyprus. Didn't get in until late evening yesterday. Weather is divine, pure dry heat (none of this humidity  we were having in Paris). I've not yet had time to get my camera out here- regardless I couldn't "stop" blogging (I think my mental health requires this expressive outlet! haha). So here is an outfit from the day before I left- I guess it is very much in line with what I'm wearing here, a lot of white and a lot of hats!  I set up camp at the pool today, and needless to say am a little rouged- despite my factor 15 sunscreen (I am one of those very bad girls who hates wearing sunscreen, probably because I grew up in Spain). I guess we will be going out for dinner tonight, but really I am just enjoying relaxing totally- waking up when I want, lazing around all day and reading as much as I can. Vacation is great!

Sequin Sequins

What I'm Wearing: Zara Black Sequin Skirt, Vintage D&G Gold Sequin Bandeau Top,

Stradivarius Hat, ASOS Suede Boots, Balenciaga Bag, Grey Ant Sunglasses + H&M Rings.

Girls, you gotta try double sequins- it is the most fun (and outrageous) type of layering. And after wearing this outfit, I am craving super colourful sequins: pink & green, yellow & blue- sequins on sequins; sparkling glory. And uhh in case you've noticed, this studded waistcoat is my favourite piece right now: its often too humid for a blazer, so this bad boy steps up to the job pretty well. This morning I was jumping around with balloons in a photo studio- its all sort of hush hush right now but here's hoping I can soon show you some of the hilarious photos that were taken today. Tomorrow I am escaping to Cyprus for fun vibes and a couple drops of that delicious drug called SUNSHINE. I'll be with the boyfriend (+ my Canon 60D) so if I ask nicely, I am sure he will snap some photos of  what I'm wearing. Well uhh as you can see, the rain is seriously killing Paris (but also my blog photo opportunites, everytime I walk out the house to snap an outfit it suddenly starts violently POURING rain). I don't have much to say, I don't really like Sundays: they sort of bore me, I always find myself too eager for the new week to begin. But, before Monday starts, make sure you check out all the new clothes at Frassy Rags-its probably my fave stuff yet- leathers, tie dyes, lots of bright brights. Blue

What I'm Wearing: Vintage Blue Shorts Suit, H&M Orange Silk Tank

Really into blue this season: blue nails, blue shoes, blue blazers (I think I have one in almost every shade imaginable: baby, cerulean, royal, electric....) Sort of just threw this on, but I am guessing you won't believe that because everything is obsessively colour-coordinated. But I promise I did, it just all matched, somehow. This matching shorts/blazer combo, I actually found in a charity shop in Spain: my momma chopped the trousers into shorts (she's so nifty with a sewing machine) - and voila my summer fun shorts suit!   Have a good weekend lovelies- I think I will be nestled away in my apartment, painting and getting through my fresh stack of magazines.

Watercolour Florals

What I'm Wearing: Urban Outfitters Leather Studded Waistcoat, Vintage Floral

I love strange combinations that somehow work wonderfully together, like honey and goats cheese (I promise, its divine!) pretzels dipped in chocolate, or on a fashion wavelength; florals and studded leather. This particular floral print reminds me of a watercolour painting, the colours are bright, yet exude a sort of softness. I bought it for 2 euros in Spain, how I miss such cheap prices- Paris seems so expensive in comparison. What are everyone's plans for this weekend? I've not been out dancing for a long time, so maybe I'll put a pair of heels on and make a fool out of myself somewhere underneath the Paris stars (who am I kidding? More like Paris rain!) Fashion is something you should dance to, and what better what to embrace this than with the Mocean Worker Remix of one of my all time favourite songs, "Express Yourself". The weather is badddd, super bad: so I am hoping wherever you are, this video re-energizes your summer summer mood, or at the very least remind you of what a total complete goof I am. And since its almost Friday (oh yes, delicious yes!)- download this song, pump up the speakers and try a million outfits on- I can guarantee enjoyment. And remember, fashion is always supposed to be F-U-N, so jump around to it (scream/shout if you want) and always, always "EXPRESS YOURSELF".

Hello, Rain

What I'm Wearing: H&M Leather Cropped Jacket + Flower Puff Skirt

Well, it hasn't stopped raining. I was wearing fur the other day, in July. Ridiculous. But on a more positive note, who knew an umbrella could prove to be such an adorable accessory?! I sure didn't, and now I am def. coveting a Chanel umbrella (a frivolous purchase I could never justify but want nonetheless).On another note, can we talk about this skirt? I just adore it: marked down to 10 euros from 45 at H&M on Rue Rivoli. There is something about discounted clothing I love; you know the clothes that have been reduced 4 or 5 times; tags hanging heavy with layers of cheaper and cheaper price stickers. Such garments remind me of the runt of a puppy litter, the poor little guy left on his own, unwanted but equally loveable. And so ofcourse, I have to bring such pieces home with me...I can't leave them hanging on that .lonely rack. So while this skirt was def. the "runt" of the H&M sales, it has found a good home now. (when you start comparing your clothes to pets, I guess it is time to admit to having a detrimental shopping problem)
