Wow, alot of bright huh? Pink & Orange is probably one of my favourite colour combinations right now. In fact, I am completely hooked on every vibrant shade of the rainbow, most of the clothes I used to buy were more muted, including a lot of black. But when browsing the summer sales yesterday, my hands kept reaching only for all the candy, eye-popping colours! My Mom is on her way here now from the airport, we will be eating an early sushi dinner and then heading to Le Bon Marche for shopping. Cannot wait to see her! (photography by Anastasia Nielsen)
Pale Perfection
What I'm Wearing: Oasis New Vintage Collection Dress, Stradivarius Heels, H&M Sunglasses
& Straw Hat, ASOS Yellow Clutch & YSL Arty Ring.
This Oasis "New Vintage" dress is exactly how I have always pictured my dream dress: fitted bodice, flared skirt, bathed in the most delicious pale yellow floral print. So, you can imagine my delight when I unwrapped this dress on a drizzly day, it was like sunshine in a box! My boyfriend took these photos, below Pont Neuf (very close to my house) - and I felt like such a lady in this perfect dress, on a perfect day, in a perfect city.
Wearing: Spartoo White Converse, Topshop Moto Acid Wash Denim Shorts,
Grey Ant Sunglasses & Brashy Couture MC Auckland Crop Top Tee.
Not really an outfit post, more of an ode to summer and a realization that sometimes fashion has got to stay simple when the heat is high and the city is burning. I wore this super basic, beautifully comfortable outfit for a day in the Tuilieries...and to top it off, I've accessorized the ensemble with the tint of a fast growing sunburnt. Oh and remember you can buy this tee at Frassy Rags: its def my favourite from the Brashy Collection!
Mismatch
ASOS Hat, Grey Ant Sunglasses, Vintage Boxy Bag, House of Harlow Ring, Ayofemi Neon Bracelets & Spartoo Sandals.
Wow, its so super hot here in Paris. Spent all day yesterday baking in Les Tuileries, eating nectarines and reading books with the boyfriend. Now, I have one of those delicious very mild sunburns that always marks the beginning of summer for me. Now, I think all of you know how fascinated I am in matching completely opposing prints: and this outfit pays homage to this print obsession I have. My Mom comes to Paris this week and I am so excited to eat sushi, attack the flea markets and do all the things we usually do together...
Big Hat & Big Flowers
What I'm Wearing: Nativa Boutique Dress, Tracy Burton Vintage Floral Bangles, Chanel Handbag,
ASOS Striped Hat, Zalando Sandals, H&M Sunglasses & YSL Arty Ring.
This is what I wore for a long exploration walk through Paris (there is so much of this city that is still so unfamiliar to me, which is so exciting). Funny incident though, this hat is huge and proved a tad problematic when walking through many a small doorway- I got stuck! White nail vanish is probably my favourite shade for summer. Also, I find myself leaning towards gigantic jewellery, such as these vintage floral bangles that I have fallen in love with. My boyfriend was supposed to leave today, but he changed his flight...so its going to be a good, good weekend!

Cocktail
Wearing: Lyubov Dress, ASOS Suede Court Heels & Grey Ant Sunglasses
I'm not usually much of a "cocktail dress" girl, I don't own many. But, when I put this wonderful Lyubov garment on, I was in pure awe: beautifully constructed and with the most elaborate draping: I had found my dream dress (not to mention, it fits like a glove- which is a rarity for me, as dresses will often fit everywhere but my much despised bust). I was running around Place Vendome in this dress, it's such a magical setting: I almost felt like Carrie Bradshaw.
Turquoise
American Apparel Hair-Bow, Annie May Pearl Choker, Vintage Clutch, H&M Sunglasses & Spartoo Strappy Sandals.
Wow, yesterday I wore a beanie and lots of leather and today, I'm hitting the other end of the fashion spectrum: prim and proper, complete with pearls and turquoise bow! Talk about a contrast! This is precisely why I have so much love for everything "fashion", its forever transforming, always moving and you can jump and dash between all its infinite possibilities. Speaking of, have you all checked out the new Frassy Rags stock? I went polka dot crazy....go take a look here. I know you will love!
Maxi Polka
What I'm Wearing: Vintage Pale Pink Crop Blouse, Vintage Pleated Polka Dot Maxi,
ASOS Oversized Yellow Clutch, H&M Hat, Tracy Burton Cocktail Ring, Vintage Sunglasses & Brogues.
I don't like Sundays. I hate how everything is closed and I always feel anxious for the new week to begin. I've literally been hibernating this weekend, ate a lot of homemade sandwiches and started watching LOST all over again with the boyfriend...I watched season one 6 years ago, which makes me feel terribly old. What is everyone doing today? I hope you relax, the vibe here in Paris couldn't be more mellow: the streets are so calm: I don't think I will leaving my flat today...except for Starbucks and maybe the cinema later.
Rose
What I'm Wearing: Maxmara Blazer, Motel Sonia Dress from Love Clothing, Alexander McQueen Skull Scarf in Hair, ASOS Suede Court Heels,
I've been searching for a plastic wicker handbag for as long as I can remember: until I found this one at H&M for the no-brainer price of 4.90! What is everyone up to this weekend? I'll be chilling out at home. I am too tired (and I feeling too old) for anything crazy. Besides, I want to save my moolah for this crazy pair of Fendi platforms I spotted at Colette this week! We are getting a summer re-stock coming to Frassy Rags tomorrow- make sure you check out all the vintage newbies!
So, this is the video I made in collaboration with Stradivarius- the team were so lovely and as you can probably see from the video, we laughed alot too. It is always weird watching yourself on camera, and I def. use the words "super" and "cute" an embarrassing amount on film! But all in all, it was such fun! Hope you guys enjoy watching!
Multi Pearl

What I'm Wearing: Stradivarius Pink Blazer, Floppy Hat & High-Waisted Shorts, Zara Bandeau Top,
The weather in Paris has truly taken a turn for the worse, but I refuse to give up on summer (besides all my coats are now stored away) so I am still prancing around the city in shorts....yes, even in the rain. The sun will come back, this I know...until then I am going to pile on bright colours and do everything the sun is supposed to be doing this time of year...(oh and by the way, Starbucks have an iced version of the Chai Tea Latte?! I didn't know this until yesterday...and wow, my life has changed)
