Three polaroids in quick succession is going to have suffice for today.
One exam left on Wednesday. It has been a week of hell,
to say the least...the very least.
Been dreaming up some amazing D.I.Ys that I cannot wait to turn into realtime.
Also cannot wait to have a drink and a conversation that doesn't revolve around an exam timetable.
What I'm Wearing: ASOS Dress, Babooshka Turban, Ebay Platforms, Vintage Clutch
Frances stopped by yesterday evening. In a frenzy of clothes grabbing and throwing, we headed out my door...in hats and heels and dresses, teetered across cobbles to my favourite bridge in Durham. I am fascinated with her new Nikon lense. Warm evening air, a shimmery sort of summer light in the sky- twirling and laughing down this bridge was a perfect end to an exam drenched day. I can feel summer, 7 days until freedom- 9 hours, 3 exams...

Who needs rose-tinted glasses, when you've got rainbow frames?
things i've bought recently...and by recently, i mean this week. oh lord.
YO. I've got twitter, follow me here & I've bite the rhetorical bullet and whipped up a formspring, ask me whatever, whenever...here. Wow, really whoring myself out there, internet-wise. I wanted to watch Gossip Girl in bed with a cup of tea, maybe even read Grazia (Sienna & Jude to be MARRIED?! Is this true?) but I'm too tired, have red lipstick smeared across my face, and really, probably, most certainly should just stop typing and crawl into bed. More soon, and by "more", I mean something of more...substance & originality. CIAO x

I'm Wearing: Urban Outfitters Breton Stripe Dress, Zara Blazer, H&M Hat, Vivienne Westwood Tote Bag.
Yesterday I was in London. Got lost in big hardback photography books in Soho, drank far too many iced lattes & had an interview for the Fashion Journalism MA at Central Saint Martins. A course I've been desperate to do since um... lets see the day I got to Durham, three years ago. And guess what: I got in! I wish I could celebrate but the current exam situation is screaming a resounding "NO" in my ears...I don't know whats worse, trying to contain my excitement to enable productive studying, or having no outlet to channel said excitement. Either way, I'm thrilled.
RINGS: ASOS, Accessorize, Vintage & D.I.Y . Vintage Sunglasses +Rokit Headscarf Barry M Grey Nail Varnish
For me, buying rings is the equivalent of going for coffee. They are both purchases you shouldn't make regularly if you are trying to save money, but I fail to ever see either as an endeavour that involves spending . Maybe thats because I enter some sort of caffeine/bling detector trance, where nothing is important but the gold glinting or hot coffee in front of me. You never need a shopping bag, and the receipt never seems to matter...and so there we have it, dangerously guilt free shopping. Enter both addictions at your own financial risk.
