"What do you suppose will come of us? I guess, when you find what've you always wanted, that's not where the beginning begins, that's where the end starts."
-Elizabeth Taylor, as told to Truman Capote

What I'm Wearing: Vintage Leopard Coat, Beyond Retro Hat, Topshop Beige Boots. Instead of icy dark evening skies, there are dense dusty blues that grow darker. Mellow sun is shining rather consistently and these days I walk out of the house without a thick tangle of scarves or a cumbersome umbrella. Call me optimistic but I can feel spring- its first hints are creeping up onto us. And while I love cosy nights indoors with big mugs of steaming caffeine, I am craving the outdoors. Riverside walks, green grass lounging, cafe reading...all the simplicities that dominate my life when the sun decides to make an appearance.

Not entirely sure what the consistency of these photos is about- they seem overly textured...which I kind of like. On friday, after several glasses of wine, I decided to get adventurous and alter my camera settings...in hindsight, it was probably not the best of ideas. This weekend I'll work on fixing my baby back.

i was going to buy a similar one from H&M, but settled on a shorter mink coloured one instead.

oh yeah, I can feel spring too.
it's not something about the temperature really, more some change in the air and the light.. either way I love it.
you look amazing of course, I thought about buying a very similar coat this past week but left it behind thinking of spring (I refuse to buy new outter wear at some point)and erm.. my balance.

eagerly awaiting your mail!

LOVE THE COAT

as much as I love it, I am starting to find some of your writing a bit monotonous - especially the huge big bowls of coffee you always seem to drink, and how durham has cobbled streets etc. anything more exciting to report...

LOVE the distortion, how come you can successfully adjust camera settings when you're drunk and all I manage to achieve is cobble-hopping and an insatiable need to steal oversized chess pieces.....

SO excited for you to be in London!
