What I'm Wearing:
Packing again. The same old saga. My new crisp clothes have excitedly jumped into my suitcase, gleaming, determined to pile up high & adamantly prevent the trusty old garments any room. How do I choose? Impossible. I pull garments out in frustration, stuff them back in, all in hopes I'll stop feeling this nagging sense of betrayal. As if I'm letting down the garments that have consistently seen me through. My age old cardigans & musty leather brogues I bought in Camden for five pounds...not the sort of items you can just leave behind. Right? RIGHT?
Ahh I will be at this packing all night.
Dark Coffee & Loud Music will see me through.

Wow my mum knitted a cardi very similar to that when she was at uni in the 80's - and now she's given it to me! I didn't really like it that much (because I had no idea how to wear it) but now these gorgeous photos have inspired me all over again!
Also, I completely understand with the clothes/packing thing...it's soooo annoying and hard to choose! Can you get some of those vacuum-seal bags or something so that you can fit more clothes in? If not, please please please don't leave the brogues behind.

That sweater is perfect...
Love this look- the addition of the ruffled denim skirt versus any other type of skirt shape does it for me. It's so bonus. I have the same trials with packing- I've been trying to get better and packing lighter and planning accordingly but it gets time consuming and the decisions become agonizing! xo, Mel
