"but oh, I love the danger!"
-Emily Dickinson

What I'm Wearing:
Vintage Skirt & Leather Jacket, Balenciaga Bag, Alexander McQueen Scarf, Karen Millen Beaded Tank & Topshop Boots.

Wow. What a weekend. Friday night involved a rather random room rave. (Frances captured the whole experience via camera) Loud music, lots of falling over and an abundance of hysterical laughter. The rest of the night was, ahem, not so great. But it all made me smile anyway. Saturday blues sunk deep but then vanished after a casual glass of wine accompanied by one of those conversations you know you will remember forever. My life has been rather up and down as of late, but finally I can see a hint of stability on the horizon. My emotions have quite literally sprinted off into a tangle of chaos but I've unwinded all the knots and now, I think I can breathe knowing that bouts of melancholy and depression are inevitable in life. Besides I am happy again now, and that is all that matters, right?

Variety. Spice. Of. Life.
Nothing like a casual sartorial montage for a quiet Sunday evening in. Candles, music, cranberry juice & my trusty camera. Funn. What I am wearing: My Fur is Vintage (how epic is the cow-print number?), my oversized skull tee is from TOPSHOP (the bff bought it for me on my birthday), shorts are chopped off leggings, hats: H&M.Finally, my new favourite shoe and sock combination, I bought these babies for 20 pounds at New Look. Deal?! YES.

7 am gym rises, scattered piles of notes on Emily Bronte & an abundance of tea: I guess I am finally getting back into serious-study mode. Routine is what student-life often lacks but I am determined to stick to some sort of schedule this year.

Currently loving: Peppermint Tea, Blueberry Porridge & Treadmills.

Okay, anyway, I'm off. I have to go buy some light-bulbs.
Thrilling.

"In the light of the sun, is there anyone? Oh it has begun..."
Boston by Augustana

All Vintage, except shoes (fake doc martens), leggings- topshop & balenciaga bag.

Ahh. The party continues. One day rolls into another and before I know it is night again- high heels hitting cobbles and loud laughter warms the dark air. I am experiencing a rather rowdy type of lifestyle these days. And while I know it is rather destructive, I also am aware that it has to stop. It was my 21st yesterday. As a grown up, I now find birthdays incredibly depressing.

But in all, it was a fun night. My friends are amaze-balls. We had a party and drank lethal punch. I escaped to my room for a few melancholy moments but then perked up when champagne bubbles hit the ceiling.

I promised photos of my room. Well here they are. You like? I LOVE. It is so, so cosy when the fairy lights are on and the candles are flickering.

Oh wow its been a long time, no? Hello again, I'm back...finally. University life has swept me off my feet- and in saying that, I don't mean I am hitting the library hard. But is def. something I have to START doing SOON.

Frances snapped these photos of me. We wandered into town, ate grapes & then I bought this really random men's coat at a charity shop for 10 poundaloozas. I quite like how huge and bulky it is. I'm living in the centre of town this year, which means I get to see her (Frances) more often. I am tempting her to come out with me, but I think she's frightened.

Songs to listen to forever and always: Florence & The Machine: You've Got The Love (XX Remix) & Collide by Howie Day. Ahhh I'm obsessed. Just fixated.

More soon.

Frassy & Jameela Jamil. LFW. Serious Girl Crush. I love this girl. WhoWhatWear recently did a feature about her. She was so friendly!

WHAT I'M WEARING:
Vintage fur, Vintage Leopard Skirt & Blouse. Balenciaga Bag & Beyond Retro Tote & Babooshka Turban. I was photographed and featured in the London Lite when I wore this ensemble. Too bad I look like such a goof in the newspaper.

The return to Durham has been epic. Lots of laughs. I was a little too keen last night for partayyying. Friday will be a big night. Fun. Oh and a shout out to Elizabeth Victoria C at Chic Heroin , who has to endure my nocturnal comments on her blog. I cannot believe I read blogs after a night out, how dedicated is that?! Anyway...I love her. We will meet one day. In London. It will be epic. Watch out.

I promise photos of my room soon. This is the last fashion week post until Febuary. (sob, sob).
I have so much to do, but not enough time to do it all. I seem to spend most of my time these days lounging around, laughing. I need to get in a motion. Currently facing a 2000 paged book called Clarissa, by Samuel Richardson. It is the most tedious piece of literature I have ever read, and this is coming from a geekathon who loves to read. I was apparently supposed to read it over the summer but somehow found other more important activities to indulge in. Big regrets now.

More soon lovelies!
