1 cappuccino, 2 iced coffees & 3 diet cokes later: caffeine overload explodes into a frilly, colour-crazy 80s-vintage dress. Jumping & Goofing around to Florence and the Machine remixes. Hyping: Lara Stone on French Vogue & the most comfortable wedges I have ever worn. Everything I'm wearing is Vintage: except the shoes: I snapped these babies up for 30 euros at a Spanish chain called Blanco.

Thumbs UP TO:
Elle.es (Elle SPAIN) featuring me as one of the trendiest fashion bloggers, you can see it here. Quite literally made my day.

Thumbs DOWN TO:
Anons commenting on my weight. Too Fat/Too Skinny: either way, I honestly don't care. We all have issues with our bodies, but if I was as half as fixated as you, then I think I would def. have an unhealthy obsession. Either way, this blog is about what I'm wearing, not how much I weigh. Take it or leave it.

Currently enjoying: late night caffeine highs, charcoal pencils & crayola crayons, swimwear as outerwear, shoe-hunting & shoe-buying, denim bleaching, big badass hats, sunset-watching, Truman Capote & kiwi yoghurt.

On another note:
So excited for the September Collection at NOT JUST A LABEL (where I interned this summer). Stefan collaborated with Lara Stone- who is curating the collection. I say, read this. It has been amazing publicity for the store and I cannot wait to see the outcome!

These long days are crammed to brimming point with all the million and one scribbles on my over-whelmingly long "TO DO" List. I am so busy. I always am, I guess.

What I'm Wearing:
Vintage Boob Tube & Leopard-print Vest.
H&M Tutu Skirt
American Apparel Gold Chain
Chanel Pendant
Casharama Belt: Frassy Rags

Anyone heard David Guetta & Akon's new song? Oh wow, I am in love.
Such a summer, dance-your-heart out kind of tune.

Right now, I am reading Dylan Thomas' Love Letters &
eating blueberries. Doing everything I possibly can
to avoid over-heating.

Getting revved up to start doing work, degree-wise.
I go back to Durham on the 20th September.
New plush house. Centre of Town.
View from my room window= cobbled street & aged stone walls.
Can't wait.

What I'm Wearing:
Vintage Crop Top & Bag, Topshop Skirt & Jelly Gladiators + Primark Hat.

Not sure what I'm doing up this late. I'm exhausted but would somehow rather be up listening to Chromeo.

I re-organized my wardrobe today. I am a very messy person. I try clothes on and carelessly fling them onto the floor until there is just a HUGE heaving heap of fashion dominating my room.

I counted my vintage blazers, so far 21 different shoulder-padded varieties. Is that too many?

Gladiators & Crop Tops feel deliciously right in this Spanish Summer Heat.
Today it was so muggy. Headache all day. I camped by the fan with diet coke, books & magazines.

Great facial expression in the first photo, right? God, I'm such a goof.

I really want my tattoo & I really want to do a VLOG.
Opinions?

Blogger Secret: (My very LAST Frassy Blazer will go up for sale on
Frassy Rags tomorrow. The first one sold out in 9 minutes: So, please, be QUICK!)

What I'm Wearing:
Wildfox Tank, Vintage Boots & Bomber Jacket, Balenciaga Bag & American Apparel Jewellery

I watched Alfie last night. But not the whole movie, just the Sienna Miller scenes.

I bought the most amazing vintage playsuit.
It is not at all like something I would usually wear,
which is why I love it.

Drank Ginger-Ale today & read Harpers Bazaar.

Currently lusting after some thigh-highs for autumn.

My hair is curly in these photos. Weird huh?
Due to the heat & lack of hairdryer.

Had a slice of apple pie today.
It wasn't as good as I had hoped.

Might be going to Stockholm in September.
Its a city that has been on my mind for a while now.

What I'm Wearing:
Vintage One-Piece Black Swimwear & Boots & Belt, Sennheiser Headphones, Dee Dee May's Vintage Shorts (she sells stuff at the Pop Up Market on Brick Lane in London. Friendly girl. And these babies were only 5 pounds. GO see her!)

I am really enjoying peach yoghurt on these furiously hot days.

Cannot stop listening to the Dub Pistols. Really Loudly. Late at Night.

I bought a neon-coloured sports bra. Not for exercise. But to wear as a crop top. Is that wrong?

I have a blister on my lip from excessive sunbathing. I wish the Sun and I could be friends.

Currently addicted to Savvanah Miller's Blog. Forever captivated with the Miller sisters.

My coral pink nail varnish is disgustingly chipped. But even worse, I don't seem to care.

Dreaming about partying in 1970s Paris with the Yves Saint Laurent Clan. Imagine sharing a glass of wine with Loulou de la Falaise?

Losing sleep over the Frassy Rags make-over. My god, its taking a long time. But my god, it is going to be GOOD.

I love all of you who read this. I do. Even the angry anons. Yep, I love you too.

That is all.

P.S Frassy Rags is undergoing an ENORMOUS makeover.
It is going to be good.

(hello...frassy bling)

"We began with words, and we will end beyond them. It sometimes seems to me that our days are poisoned with too many words. Words said and not meant. Words said and meant. Words divorced from feeling. Wounding words. Words that conceal. Words that reduce. Dead words.
If only words were a kind of fluid that collects in the ears, if only they turned into the visible chemical equivalent of their true value, an acid, or something curative-then we might be more careful. Words do collect us in anyway. They collect in the blood, in the soul, and ether transform or poison people's lives."
- Extract from the essay, "Beyond Words" by Ben Okri

Everything I am wearing is vintage. I cannot stop reading & jotting notes down.
That is all. For now.

Visit: Self Service PR for Wildfox Stockists in the UK.

Spain...
Lounging on warm tiles, watching quiet mountain views.

Swaying to the Dub Pistols in huge headphones.
Flooding lined paper with ramblings &
trying to make poetry out of its incoherent mess.

Last Stop:
Hoxton Square, Shoreditch & Brick Lane

Frances & I in Shoreditch

Brick Lane: I am wearing vintage hat & lace waistcoat. Zara oversized tee. Urban Outfitters boots & Balenciaga bag

"Yum"

I give these out to people: mostly people I photograph, but I have also found myself giving them out when I'm dancing in a club or when I find myself randomly talking to strangers. Its fun.

ODE TO: Stylish Strangers
or as the Facehunter would say: "eye candy for the style hungry"

I have photographed this guy twice now, once at Spitalfields and this time, on Brick Lane.
The waistcoat & hat combination is pretty much perfection. Wouldn't you agree?

The first time I saw this woman, she was swaying to some music in this dress. It looked sensational. Later, I had to photograph her.

Cigarettes & florals in Shoreditch: a melody that def. sings a sweet Saturday afternoon.

This is all about the hat and the florals. Not to mention, the hint of what I think might be a really awesome blazer. Actually, I like it all. I just like her.

The trucker hat I tried on in Rokit on Brick Lane: Jenny had to get a photo, probably to show me how lame I looked! Is it wrong to secretly wish I had bought it?!

I can't seem to wear anything without a blazer. Even when I know I will probably be holding it rather than wearing it for the majority of the time. Is this an addiction or am I just stuck in my sartorial ways?

Three things:
Friday night, Frances and I went to the National Portrait Gallery on Charing Cross Road. We saw the Gay Icons exhibit which was intriguing. Def. favourite was a polaroid of Gianni Versace, taken by Andy Warhol. I'm such a Warhol whore: I worship that man.

I am pretty sure I saw Discotheque Confusion in Rokit Vintage on Brick Lane.
Was going to go up and give her a mighty big "HIYA!" but decided against it.
Now, I wish I had.

We started talking to a guy on Brick Lane who as a weekend job, takes polaroids of streetgoers for the price of 3 pounds each. He lives in the same building as the Facehunter. And he acted so nonchalant about it. Jealous much?

woahhhh, long post. I am headed to Spain tomorrow for a while.
But back in London in September.

WHAT I'M WEARING:
Topshop Grey Zipper Tee, Vintage Green Blouse, H&M leggings, Vintage Head-Scarf & Chains,
Zara Bleached Bucket Bag, Shoes from Urban Outfitters.

Frances Wears:
Vintage Blazer + H&M Dress

Is it wrong...?

To think you hear The Prodigy playing in the distant, but then realise its just echoing in your head?

To look at everyone's shoes on the tube? Is that obsessive?

To stop in the middle of the street so as to quickly jot a song lyric down?

To think about Hummingbird Bakery cupcakes for a whole afternoon, but decide against eating any?

To secretly design Frassy blog headers during class at Central Saint Martins?

To have Frances convince you to jump off a wall? It hurt. I hate her.

Going to bed. Now. So, so exhausted.

Ooh but before I go, the fantastic street-style photographer, Vanessa Jackman snapped & featured me on her blog. You can read it here.
