What I'm Wearing: Wildfox Love Potion Tee (£65) from Urban Outfitters, ASOS Jeggings, Vintage Brogues & Blazer, Primark Scarf.

Introducing: My Durham Best Friend, Jade.
Our outfits were not co-ordinated. Promise.

Prior to these photographs, we had stopped into the supermarket for 2 bananas and 2 oranges and subsquently ate them during our post-party walk along the river. Nothing like some fruit and a casual wintery walk to inflict energy into a lethragic mood. The light outdoors was wonderfully soft and the air smelt like Christmas. Perfecttt. Durham is such a gorgeous place, sometimes I feel like I don't appreciate it as much as I should, and seeing as I am biding farewell to it all this coming July, I am determined to get as much from this quaint town as possible.

Weekend:
Happy Hour hits home on a Saturday night when a gaggle of girlfriends, doused in fake blood with maroon-tinted lips, show up at your front door. Living in the centre of town is dangerous, planned quiet nights in almost always roll into rowdy chaos. Why stay in when you can walk two minutes and be in the midst of nocturnal spark and uproar?

I am craving London & blonde hair lately. I def. will be visiting the capital as soon as I can, but will not be indulging in my light-hair desires. A brief recollection of my platinum blonde days brings a swell of embarrassment, so I think I will most def. stick to my natural blonde/brown for now.

I am going to buy a long-sleeved maxi dress a la Olsen twins. Soon. Very, very soon.

ah you girls look amazing, I was worried for a second about seeing double as a late consequence of the fun and tequila I had yesternight.

and I can feel you about durham. hildesheim is my uni-place and it might not be hamburg or berlin but it definitely has its own charming spots like the park right outside my door that looks like it burst in flames now in autumn. just beautiful.

and: don't go blonde. just don't.
haha, I feel a need to change my hair recently but I think I should just leave it alone untill at least january, it's so damaged from everything they did to it while I was playing theatre.

have a great sunday night IN!

Wonderful photos, makes me slightly wistful for the English countryside! While I am a city girl at heart, there is a small part of me that misses my country roots.

Love both your outfits too, and the fact that you've accidentally co-ordinated!

I love the primark scarf especially!! Cambridge Primark is opening this friday at 9 in the morning :) So when you come for the shop visit i definately recommend having a look, although it may be rather hectic in there as primark always is!
Love the brogues also, was thinking of getting some topshop ones with gold studs on them...:)

Hey Lady !
Sounds like a pretty sweet weekend. I'm upping my blueberry intake in preperation for christmas / new year!
Love Wildfox - similar to another brand I'm v.v. fond of but only gets stocked in America (sob) but will soon be there for a year abroad so no worries!

See you soon :D

As sonna as I saw your outfits I was like "oh look they're dressed as twins" haha, its funny that you didn't plan that.

Also, I love natural hair way better than dyed :)

Pimps & Pinups on Lamb Street, nr Brick lane, E1, is very good if you've got the money to drop. My ex goes there and she always looks gorgeous. Well, her hair does, at least.

Can't recommend anywhere in Durham, to be honest.

Good that you are appreciating Durham, there are some good things about it...aren't there?
However, I can completely believe you're outfits aren't planned, as every other bugger in Durham is also coordinated (complete with camel toe too) - not your most orginal look :(

You and jenny we're somewhat interesting during Fashion Week, now you have both become ever so boring. Do me the favour of becoming exciting again, both in terms of your lives and outfits.

Nice brogues, but i prefer your Uggs

Britta said...

I have some leggging jeans like those. Soooo comfy. A long sleeved maxi dress would suit you.

Anonymous said...

you do realize your brunette right?
i don't know why you said "natural blonde" when you clearly have dark brown hair
it really bothers me when people refuse to accept that their hair has darkened
