WHAT I'M WEARING:
Vintage Blazer, Vintage Dress, D.I.Y Bicycle Shorts (snipped at some old Primark leggings),
Portobello Market is far too tourist-orientated for my liking; Notting Hill is much nicer during the week, when all the fanny packs and dorks with maps and long zip off shorts are not lingering around looking foolish. I wandered around, half in awe of the great vintage shops and half in awe of what is probably the best chai latte I have ever had. Shame I can't even remember the name of the place I bought it.
The atmosphere circling Notting Hill is very peaceful, a sort of haven away from what is the hectic hustle of the rest of London city. I bought an array of goodies, from bizarre pendants to a 2 pound pale blue blazer to a glue-stick for my scrap book. Highlight of my shopping was def. a dark silver American Apparel dress that I cannot wait to mix up with pendants and shoulder-pads for a night out soon. RETRO CLOTHING has mountains of affordable vintage and if you can't make it to Notting Hill, they have stores dotted around London...awesome. Do go visit!
As I mentioned previously, I have been interning at NOT JUST A LABEL, which was great. Stefan, the owner, has fantastic premises in Shoreditch. We photographed all the clothes that will be sale online soon: and some of the pieces are truly art-work. Photos to appear soon, keep your eyes peeled!
Funnn.

Next time I'm there I'll definitely wander around Notting Hill. I wandered around Soho on my last trip which only lasted a weekend, so I did end up going to Portobello, which I found way too crowded :(
