Soho Sundays

WHAT I'M WEARING:
Beyond Retro Tote, Urban Outfitters Vintage Hoodie, Rokit Vintage Bleach Shorts, H&M Shoes & Socks. Headband: Topshop.

Soho is always an amusing visit, especially after a long, tiring week. Frozen Yoghurt + Vintage Shops (I have been to ALL the major v-shops in L-town now, it has almost become a hobby), Soho also embraced copious amounts of caffeine & photo-snapping.

There is such an inspiring grunge-eccentricity that circles the Soho air. Not to mention, Beyond Retro has one of its better stores situated in the middle of all the hubbub; which always faithfully supplies me with some sort of sartorial snack. On a secondary note: any of you visiting the Camden or Covent Garden area: make sure you go to Rokit Vintage: they are delicioussss stores.

London really is the city for me. I simply cannot get enough. I suck the dregs out of each day by making sure I am always exploring something new, from a cafe to a vintage shop to a tiny alleyway to another sushi joint. There is so much to see and yet everytime I am here, I feel like I am not seeing enough. From a fashion point-of-view, I am constantly snapping street style-esque photography and jotting notes down. People here, esp. in the Shoreditch, Camden and Brick Lane areas have some seriously sweet style. Very refreshing. Durham seems dull, dowdy, boring and far, far away. Is it wrong to say I never want to go back? I am beginning to HATE being a student: I want to start doing something productive...like making some moolah. Now that would be nicee.

Have so much to share with all you wonderful readers. For the next week, will be posting almost daily, so keep updated. Have been interning at NOT JUST A LABEL this week. Great Experience. But more on that later..

'sartorial this' 'sartorial that'..please buy a thesaurus or something; there are other words to use to describe things..you seem to have a v limited vocab, throwing in words like 'sartorial' and 'copious' in every post does not make you a good writer. You dress nicely and everything, but this whole literary 'geek' and 'bohemian spirit' image you try and portray just seems to me to be a bit of a pathetic try-hard attempt to be someone you're not, or wish you were. It's cooler to be yourself :)

Minnesota Twins Sweatshirt=giant win! :) unfortunately they lost insanely tonight, but it's no matter :)

p.s. anonymous--I'd have more respect for your opinions on 'being yourself' if *you* had a self to portray and also...she's exactly who she is.

Oh my goodness, your "vintage sweatshirt" is the team from my homestate and hometown!!! Kisses, Frassy and kudos for wearing my team colours :)

you look really lovely here, and I love that lately you've been posting some photos of your surroundings. your life seems very interesting- at least the tidbits of it that you post on your blog. i do agree with another anonymous poster that it may be time to use some different vocabulary, but other than that you are totally inspiring and I really enjoy reading your blog.

Sounds like you are having lots of fun, fab outfit again! You have one more year of uni left. and I promise the final year goes super fast!!

I really like your fashion sense. If I passed you in the street and saw this outfit, I wouldn't make a big deal, but after seeing your consistent range of looks it's very interesting. All your looks effortlessly interlink with one another, and everything just seems to flow. You have a very specific look, and I like that, well done.

I love your fashion and i think your beautiful, but i agree with some of the other comments about your vocabulary. i find you very inspiring but some of the things you write seem so try hard it gets under my skin. I'm a huge fan of yours and your clothes make me want to scream, i am so in-love with them haha.
its just that some posts just dont seem like you, they seem to be some cool image you want to portray yourself as. be yourself audrey x
