What I'm Wearing:
Topshop Skirt, Vintage Cropped Tee, H&M Plimsoles, Sunglasses: monikapolitan & the "i love urban outiftters" tote comes free with Elle UK July...I personalized it by expressing my love for Lagerfeld.
Sparkling suns, blankets on the grass near the river, precarious stacks of magazines EVERYWHERE and a lovely, health-inducing five carb-free days . All I crave is cold water and crunchy fruit & veg. Summer it seems is finally, finally here...
I LOVE Durham in these months, it is a location that seems to echo light-heartedness when the sun is summer yellow and not winter white. I love that the smell of suncream and bbq evades the air and how all I can hear from my window is the clappety clap of a dozen pairs of flip-flops.
I am off to get ready for nocturnal fun...

nocturnal fun = fucking ugly, fat ginger boyfriend?

Anonymous said...

audrey is not a mean slaggy ho.
she is uber talented and passionate about things..

you are no doubt either fat, ugly or bland...and your simply taking this out on audrey because your angry.

im at collingwood too...and NOT everyone HATES audrey at all. It is people like YOU who make college the gossipy immature community it is. SO GO FIND SOMETHING BETTER TO DO WITH YOUR SAD LIFE than sit on the computer and come up with ways in which to make audrey feel bad.

loveee it. your tanned too. the weather is sooo nice here!

love from hild bede xxxx

i agree, with anon...collingwod is just BADDD

I LOVE AUDREY LEIGHTON ROGERS!
and your bag, how creative.

'you are no doubt either fat, ugly'

Exactly why so many people have a problem with the attitude of this blog which basically says if you arent rich enough to buy lots of clothes, and have the time to drastically change them everyday and photograph yourself 10 times you are not a 'cool' person.

Whats wrong with being your natural build? I'd rather eat a proper diet than as thin as the carrot sticks audrey eats.

Ugly doesn't = boring. Generally pretty people are boring as they haven't had to develop personalities. They are the bland ones because they simply trade on their looks thinking they will be set for life. Well guess what, everyones looks fade. And when you are older you will realise that having a well until personality and nature is more fashionable and liked than having so pieces of material.

Fashions always fade. Actual genuinely interesting people are always fashionable.

The criticisms on here get increasingly laughable. This is especially true of the previous rant on the boring personalities of pretty people which just seems bitter and resentful. The amount of people who write rude and obnoxious comments here do nothing but leave negative impressions of themselves.

I may not always love every outfit or every comment posted on this blog but I appreciate the creativity that goes into this site and the fact that while some things might not be to my taste I can still enjoy the glimpses into another person's perspective. Some of the anonymous posts on here are unnecessarily malicious and just seem really petty. If you don't like this blog, why come here?

Love it or loathe it, this blog is just one person expressing themselves and is not harming anyone. All the bitching is unjustified and immature. I too am from Collingwood and love your blog, keep up the good work!

I actually don't think Audrey's ever said that, has she? She's expressing her opinion on her own blog. Fashion is what she loves; she shops at charity shops and makes time for it because she enjoys it. It's no different to someone who gets up to row every morning and spends loads of money on it. But nowhere has she said that you're 'uncool' if it's not what interests you; the few negative comments about UGG boot wearers etc. are only in response to the negativity she receives (and if I had to put up with the stick she receives I'd probably be far less dignified!). I'm at Collingwood, wear UGG boots and Audrey's always very friendly to me, because despite being interested in fashion she's actually doesn't seem to be one of the people in Durham who judge you based on what you wear.

So cute! I'm way too self conscious (and scary pale) to wear a crop top but that skirt is lovely! I love summer too!

Love this outfit. Your figure looks amazing in it. I'm v jealous.

The negative crappy comments are really starting to spoil this blog for the people who actually enjoy reading it for what it is.

Anonymous said...

fucking hell, anons. start a gossip blog or something if all you want to come in and do is put this girl down.

im from brighton- and have no idea what this 'collingwood' stuff is about.. but quite frankly, who cares? my comment (13th i think) WAS a criticism, but related to fashion!! I dont get why all of frassys personal life has to be dragged into here at all.

can we keep it about the clothes? what we like/dislike.. only constructive criticism too? Some of the comments in here (and in previous posts) are so fricking BITTER. If you hate this site so much, dont come/comment. SIMPLE.

Love the top, love the hair.
Love the fact it's finally summer :)
Andddd, I don't have a clue about Durham or it's students, and I don't particularly care. It's not why I read this blog.
So if we could all get back to commenting on the actual post, it'd be nice.

i was amazed when I was in Europe at all the freebies that come with magazines! They definitely don't do that in the states :?

You can pull the crop top off!

-ignore all the hurtful comments! I really don't see why people waste their time writing things like that only to cut other people down.

Esme said...

Hey Im from the States and from reading preivous comments Durham sounds kinda messed up! (just from what I've read anyways) But seeing as this IS A FASHION blog im gonna go ahead and comment on her fashion which is as always awesome! love the croptop and high waisted thing, you look stunning as always i can totally see you walkig the streets of NY! kisses from New YorkXXXX

Gracious! There I was thinking that all Durham students were articulate and well-mannered; I really am quite surprised at the rude comments that Audrey has been receiving!

It makes me glad to be in my postgraduate University College bubble!

Best of luck to you Audrey, enjoy your free time now that exams are over!

I love this outfit! Love it!

ok, i honestly think this outfit does nothing for you, you need a tight body for a crop and a peek of fatty flesh isnt the way to go. also wear heels, your legs are too short and stubby without!

Anonymous said...

Audrey,
I frequent your blog, and love every second of it. You have a truly inspired sense of fashion, and I am sorry to see that you are getting a bunch hateful comments. They're just butt-hurt that they can't express themselves through fashion the way that you do.

C'est la vie . . .

Oh for god's sake. How can you all know what Audrey's like in real life and how can you criticise someone you know nothing about? Also, something that just really irked me is that someone implied that pretty girls are airheads. My best friend is insanely beautiful, but she is on of the kindest, funniest and cleverest people I have EVER met.

Anyway, now that's off my chest I'd like to say great outfit, Frassy. Keep doing what you're doing! :)

Ellie said...

bad.

Anonymous said...

shes not that beautiful, for starters.

also i tend to agree, this looks awful on her.

Hayley said...

Omg there is no way she deserves this relentless bitching. Although I am clever enough to go to Uni in somewhere like Durham I chose not to, hearing rumours that the students were all stuck up. I have to say this impression is what you are all creating. It seems seriously pathetic and appears to be out of spite and jealousy.
I love Frassy's creativity and the fact that she has decided to express this publicly.
Ignore these comments. You are better than them.

Hayley.

@Hayley
Sounds to me like you weren't intelligent enough. If you truly had brains, you wouldn't be wasting them - you would be ceasing the opportunity.

Now as for stuck up people - that's EXACTLY what Audrey is. She completely blanked a friend of mine in Loveshack for no reason whatsoever. Basically, the world would be better off without her.
