Yesterday I spent the whole day in silence in the library...I actually did not say a word to anyone all day; was rather depressing. I wandered home at about 7 pm, my head was sunken low with self-pity despite efforts to console myself with a big bowl of muesli. When my housemate arrived back home, she saw my expressionless face and said "okay, come on we are going out". So I jumped into a pair of lace leggings, some trusty cut-offs and styled some seriously big, big hair, and off we went. It was...an eventful night to say the least...we hit two clubs instead of just one, which I guess means double the fun. Now, I am completely drained: Fashion Show Rehearsals and Salmon Pasta are what my Sunday revolved around. Now I am gulping tea and contemplating a very early night with candles lit and the radio on.

I do realise I am wearing the same shirt in the previous post- I just can't get enough of paint splatters. This is my massive hair I was describing earlier. A lot of you have asked if this is my room or my closet...and it is my room: being students, we live in a tiny house so my room unfortunately, actually resembles a closet. It is cosy though but from what you can see- clothes are like my furniture: they are literally everywhere, folded pillars or just spilling out everywhere and anywhere. The other day I used a pile of sweaters as a pillow, it made me feel very Carrie Bradshaw to say the least.

This is one of my favourite recent outfits: I wore it in Spain...sadly Durham is far too freezing for such leg-exposure. And on that note, everytime I have to front the cold, another dream of summer floats into my head.

And finally, two photographs I stumbled upon that made me smile. Firstly, who doesn't love Charlotte Ronson? I am a little in awe of her complexion....and this shot is so natural and spontaneous. She looks beautiful. And for the second shot, is all about the cake. I'd love some cake right now...although I wish I could look as great as her while eating it.
Thats all for tonight. More on Monday!

I have this shirt in beige, I had no idea how to wear it. You're marvellous!
your night seems more fun than mines.
you look cute with this skirt
Oh dear god I know what you mean about the library... it's kind of soul-deadening not to speak to anyone for a full day eh? On the other hand, it's equaly exhausting to talk too much trying to extract information from people when you planned to have a quiet day (sorry, ranting journalism student, crazy scoop that's ruined my weekend! pout).
To partying, candles and radio! (+wine!)
yummm, cake
i love that ur room is so ... cozy well to me it is.. dont change a thing lol
and the shirt is so cute i would wear it as many times as i could get away with lol

i completely understand with the bedroom! my apartment has four bedrooms and they're all about the size of closets. i'm lucky enough to have a 2x4 sized window lol. but yeah, my bookshelves house my prettiest shoes as opposed to books.
I miss summer too but we just have to bare it for a couple more months.
My room also is piled high with clothes. Everytime I do laundry, I tend to fold and pile them high around the room. I sometimes do an inventory of the things I do have and get really giddy when I find something lovely that I haven't see or worn for the longest time.
One question though. How do you keep in shape during the cold season?
Yep, give me some cake!
Seriously, your room seems to be really cute. And your hair is simply gorgeous. I love it massive.
I love your red skirt,
you seem to pull off everything so damn well!
Your night sounds like so much fun. More clubs always equals more fun in my opinion!
You look fabulous!
Excellent haiir!
And yess, I agree, we should definitely take advantage of our geographical proximity, hahaa. When's the fashion show you're involved in? I'd love to go.
And your room looks mental - I thought mine was a mess, but you've absolutely trumped me. x
P.S. I've tagged you. x
Nice heels.
woooo fun nights out when not expected!
LOVING THE BIG HAIR!
I think that your room looks very interesting, there really is lots of stuff going on! Hope to see you around Durham some day... Prehaps at the Vintage Fashion Fair that is being held at the end of the month?!
I am also organising a retro/glamorous giveaway on my blog at the moment if you wish to participate!
