A Day's Collection

A Day's collection of thoughts contained in these photos. Excuse the brevity of the post- my efforts and energies have been far from depleted from studying and the gym. I just want to go to bed, but instead face another note-taking session in the library that sadly will not end until the clock strikes twelve.

I overlooked my "out of proportion" skinny ankle and huge feet combination and wore this outfit anyway. It wasn't very warm but I must admit, I like the way it all looks combined.

My evenings are filled with essentially the themes of this photo: candles and literature. Somehow the mellow light of the flame makes my tiny room look far less claustrophobic than it actually is, not to mention, makes me feel right in tune with the likes of the Romantic poets who all inscribed their brilliance by candle-light.

I wear so little of this stuff these days, so I thought I'd share an attempt at an artsy photo that I snapped in a particularly bored moment. Personally, it reminds me of one of those quirky, eye-catching shots ALLURE Magazine include in their issues every now and again.

The outfit that made my day: Gala always inspires me but this time I think she has really outdone herself. The fur, the miniature monkeys covering her quirky skirt and the lovely leather shoes. I just cannot get enough. Get a better look: here

On a final note, I took part in a photography shoot yesterday- I styled the girl's outfits- which in essence meant I took some of my own favourite pieces and paired them together for the photos. It was a fun experience and hopefully I will have some photos to display at a later date. To finish the evening off- The Sequined beauty that inhabits the middle ground between the blazer and the cardigan- 2 fashion essentials I adore.
