I read in Grazia magazine today about a concept called "Shrinking", which is basically drinking and shopping simultaneously, thus causing your bank balance to start shrinking. The concept of this scares me, I am already a dangerously compulsive shopper when sober; I hate to think what I would be buying after some bubbly....

What I'm Wearing:

Vintage Pink One-Piece Swimwear, American Apparel Acid Wash Denim, Pink Acid Wash Tote: Primark, Vintage Belt, Ray-Ban Aviators + H&M Black Plimsoles.

Sometimes you have to drift out of your sartorial comfort zone; be outrageous and wear something you wouldn't normally ever wear. This is what I did today with pink. I usually stay clear away from it but after I bought this eye-catching pink swimsuit, I decided to return to my 10-year old roots and throw some bubble gum shades into an ensemble. I am not entirely sure what motivated me to embark on what I like to call a "colour binge", but I fear it might have something to do with what is my severely over-caffeinated, extra-hyper state of mind. Sugar-free redbull has become a huge part of my diet, which isn't healthy, but hey, its so addictive! And I think my mood is adequately expressed in the photos: I was being such a goof.

I dubiously picked these trousers off a rack the other day, eventually decided to buy them because they were on sale. And now, they are literally my favourite trousers to date! I feel like some pseudo-pirate/sailor when I have them on, and they are so airy and loose; perfect for Spanish summer weather.

It seems after all the negativity that cursed Frassy for awhile, Karma is kicking in and people are being incredibly kind. I feel incredibly honoured to have all these wonderful people interview & feature me.

Suzanne Carafano, owner of Spanish Moss Vintage (One of thee BEST online Vintage stores) interviewed me and is sending me some amazing clothes. You can read it here. From our communication via email, Suzanne and I seem to have a lot in common; we both love literature & writing, not to mention I hugely admire the success of her treasure-laden store.

What is everyone doing this weekend?

Friday night saw me dancing around in my room with friends to Flo Rida, a very long night out & a rather comical affair involving flinging ice-cream on the floor and brushing our teeth in the bath-tub. I love nights out: and all the random, hysterical nonsense that seems to always ensue.

Finally, here is my latest fashion inspiration, I love the sleekness of these ensembles. And right now, I am an absolute sucker for anything and everything strapless. Yesterday I bought 8 pieces of strapless vintage swimwear!

Edinburgh in Photographs:

Edinburgh was an awesome city: apart from the cringeful crowds of painfully dorky tourists, I got to visit some quirky vintage shops, drink ridiculous amounts of organic lemonade and I even went to the cinema (Admitedly, I went to see the same movie twice: The Hangover, which I can officially say is my favourite comedy of all time.) Now, I am back in Spain: ready to soak up the sun and do huge amounts of freelance fashion work (I have 12 deadlines in total! ahh!) until I head to London for five weeks. My dissertation is also looming: 8000 words on Truman Capote's Breakfast at Tiffany's: so the research must begin soon.

For now, I am off to enjoy the sunset and eat barbequed fish. Oh, and drink sugarfree red-bull: I'm addicted!
